Bio: Dr. Harden is a physician at Smallville Medical Center. In early 2002, she'd treated young telepath Ryan James after he'd nearly been run over by Martha Kent. She'd found evidence of abuse on Ryan, and had suspected that he'd had short-term amnesia brought on by post-traumatic shock. She'd assured the Kent family, though, that Ryan's memory should be returning within 24 to 48 hours. In the spring of 2003, Dr. Harden had treated Martha herself following a car accident that had caused the latter to have a miscarriage. In 2005, she'd treated Martha's adopted son Clark for a gunshot wound, but he'd died on the table and she'd had to break the news to his parents. In 2006, following an attack by Duncan Allenmeyer, Dr. Harden had assured Lex Luthor that his then-girlfriend Lana Lang was going to be fine, though she'd recommended that Lana get some rest.
