Bio: Born in approximately 1985, Lois was raised as an army brat. When she was only six years old, her mother Ella had died of cancer, leaving her and her baby sister Lucy to bounce around the world with their father, General Lane. In 2004, Lois had arrived in Smallville to investigate the death of her cousin Chloe, only to run into Chloe's best friend Clark Kent. Together, the two had discovered that Chloe was alive, having faked her death with help from Lex Luthor. Shortly afterward, Lois had been forced to attend Smallville High alongside Clark and Chloe when it was revealed that she hadn't had enough credits to graduate the previous semester. That is, until Lex, as a a favor to Clark, had pulled some strings to get Lois accepted into Metropolis University. However, her college career had been short-lived, as she'd eventually been kicked out for underage drinking. Instead, she'd gotten a job waitressing at The Talon, the local coffee shop, eventually allowing her to move out of the Kents' where she'd been staying and into the apartment above The Talon. In early 2006, Jonathan Kent had recruited Lois as his campaign manager as he'd run for Kansas State Senator. Unfortunately, Jonathan had died the same day that he'd won the election. His senate seat had instead gone to his widow Martha, who had in turn hired Lois as her chief of staff. However, Lois's natural curiousity had led her to land a job at the Metropolis Inquisitor, though her journalistic career had originally begun during a brief stint writing for the Smallville High newspaper. By 2007, Lois had been hired on at the The Daily Planet by editor Grant Gabriel, with whom she'd had a brief affair. Eventually, Lois had encouraged Clark to join her at the Planet, with Clark becoming Lois's deskmate in 2008. In 2009, during a fight with Lex's protegé Tess Mercer, Lois had come across Clark's Legion ring, instantly finding herself transported to the future. She'd returned to the present three weeks later, almost immediately forgetting her time in the future, except for flashes that came to her in dreams. That same year, she and Clark had begun dating. In 2010, she'd discovered Clark's secret, and eventually the two had become engaged. Their wedding had initially been planned for 2011, but the ceremony had been interrupted by Darkseid. Clark had eventually triumphed over Darkseid, becoming the superhero he'd always meant to be. Seven years later, Lois and Clark had tried once more to get married, and in the meantime, had continued to work alongside each other at The Daily Planet.
