Bio: Dean Winters is an insurance adjuster, previously based out of Smallville, Kansas. In 2002, a series of tornadoes had struck, and in the aftermath, he'd met florist Nell Potter, presumably while inspecting her floral shop for damages. They'd begun dating shortly after that, much to her niece Lana's annoyance. A few weeks later, Dean had accepted a job in Metropolis, and had asked Nell and Lana to move with him. While Nell was more than happy to accompany him to Metropolis, Lana had refused to uproot her life and had been allowed to stay with her friend Chloe.
